We call our BD "Schmidty" but never to his face. :-) That was the Guard Director. Rosato was a moldy donut.

We don't call ours anything except Mr. B. That's just who he is. He's awesome. That reminds me of the band teacher from Melfort!

Smitty. EVERYONE calls him that, except administration at school. Once, I was trying to say something about smitty, and my friend was eating skittles, so I ended up calling him Smittles. Which is hilarious. Others include Smits and God.
ABD- we call him Haugie, which is a cute short version of his real name, or Turtle cause he looks like one, or simply refer to him as Calvie, because he has the LARGEST calves you have ever and will ever see IN YOUR LIFE.
Guard instructor- 3 Beautiful Children!! Because se freaked out on a busride last year because we were being loud and there was a tornado warning and she was all "I have 3 beautiful children at home and I do not want to die because we won't know what to do if there's a tornado because you guys were talking!"

Our head director has many nicknames (most of which aren't appropriate). We like to call him ADDee (his last name is Dee and he goes off on tangents all the time). Our assisstant director is the biggest Star Wars fan I've ever seen. I like to refer to him as Darth Jean. Then there's our low brass instructors from band camp. First there's "Bill" (who was AWESOME) and then came "Bruce Almighty" (because he thought he was God). This year we had "Thomas the Terrible" (who was a cross between Bill and Bruce, leaning more towards long periods of wall-sits. He was still pretty fun though.) Last year, a bunch of the guard referred to the guard director as "Slave Driver" (for obvious reasons).

Um, our actual BD's name is Ms. Ulrey, so we occasionally call her "the Ulster" but we dont think she likes it. My personal favorite though is the percussion instructor for marching band. His name is Joey Rivera and his nickname with us is Pappy Rivera for numerous reasons. One day he was limping because he hurt himself the night before and had to sit all day too. Then because he was always telling us stories that got us off track. So pappy he became.

One of the baritones from last year named our newest BD K-Pan, because his name is Ka'apana. After he left last year, the name just stuck. And since our other BD is Tanimura, my section named her Tan-tan. I think we're the only section that calls her that. . .so far. It's pretty funny.

People usually just call him Mr. A, but I have heard one person call him A-dawg. Everyone laughed.

We don't call ours anything except Mr. B. That's just who he is. He's awesome. Ditto... well except on the awesome part, he's cool but most would disagree with "awesome." I can't call him by his full last name it sounds to awkward, 3 long syllables.
