speaking of green blood... I'm wearing a shirt right now that says "I bleed purple" haha. yes for school spirit.
I'm entering the most difficult stage of my college career (not really, but we'll pretend), letting go of marching band. See... band practice started today, and I had work today. It was the last summer I wasn't in marching band was June 2003. The last fall I wasn't involved in colorguard was in 2002. >< I'm in deeeeeep denial right now.

I'm going to EMU (Eastern Michigan University, for those not familiar w/ MAC schools)! Definitely thought at first you meant Eastern Mennonite University at first but I didn't think anyone here was considering any of the major Christian schools on the East Coast.

^ I forgot EMU was also Eastern Mennonite, otherwise I would have gotten thrown by that too. lol, if Duel was at Eastern Mennonite, I'd have to harass her all the time. MAC= Mid-American Conference (I definitely had to look that up), but Eastern Michigan is in the same conference as Ohio, which is where SaxGirl goes to school (but they dont play in football this year, if I remember correctly) haha, football is definitely my secret passion (right after shoe shopping, of course )

^Both are my not-so-secret foes. It is so hard to find a sensible heel that doesn't make the whole shoe look orthopedic. The only ones I can find are dance shoes and if I shell out the money for suede-soled pretties, by golly, I want to dance in them! (you aren't supposed to wear street shoes on the dance floor so it's either one or the other)

lol, all I wear is street shoes. between tennis shoes, hiking boots and skate shoes... I own way too many. Which is ridiculous in my opinion. and no one believes me when I tell them I love to shop for shoes. ahhh... dance shoes. those are fun.

I know the TBS folks on campus here are pretty awesome. I'd ask SaxGirl all about TBS though, because she's actually in it, and could offer some awesome advice.

yeah, ku has both tbs and kkp, but i'd probably join tbs because i know more people in it already. The way most work (as it has been explained to me) is that if both are present on campus (ie Baylor) girls can only join TBS (since it is a sorority) and guys to Kpsi (fraternity.) The people I know who pledged did not regret their decision. I rushed TBS last year but decided not to pledge since my schedule became crazy.

TBS is nearly all girls at JMU, but KPsi is an pretty even mix of guys and gals. We have SAI on campus too, which is entirely women (I know we have some SAI folks on the boards) and we have one more. but I don't remember what it is.
But most of my knowledge about those groups are from what I've heard from friends.

OMG OMG OMG. In less than 12 hours, I'll be moved into my dorm! Then I can go shopping with my roommate, buy a parking permit and... blockparty2009. *ahem* I'm the designated walker, don't worry

I lived in a 15'5"X9'3" with one other person last year. I shared a bathroom with 15 other girls. my room this year is 13'X18', and we have our own bathroom (my roommate and I). and we have a self controlled AC unit.
