I love gridiron, not least because it's the only reason marching band exists in the form it does. Also, pep band in rugby would be weird, because play doesn't stop all that often. I guess you could play something really quick during the scrums and then when your team wins a ruck or something, but there aren't really first downs or any of that. Unless you're playing rugby league, in which case you may as well be playing gridiron.

Last time I watched the rugby finals some nations did bring pep bands

Today, I made dinner all for myself. I find this to be quite an accomplishment. But now I'm feeling a bit funny in my tummy and do you think that frozen biscuits would go bad? Because I'm pretty sure there was nothing wrong with the spaghetti noodles. ><

So, I saw the following promotional poster in an office at Kennedy Space Flight Center while I was down there this past weekend, trying to see the Shuttle launch (as some of you may heard, it unfortunately ended up getting canceled (or 'scrubbed', as they say in NASA jargon), but that's another story). Anyhow, I'm pretty sure it's one of the most awesome things I've ever seen:

^ hahaha, yeah I saw that in your photos. Made my night. and seeing it again made my morning a little brighter. Shame the mission got scrubbed. I'll have to check and see why.

^It's back on, they're making another attempt at 5-something tomorrow morning. My one friend from high school is pulling an all-nighter to attend (his family took a week off for the first attempt)

I've always wanted to see a shuttle launch. my mom jokes about how she went to see one while she was pregnant with me, so I've technically "been" to one.

My mother claims that I've seen most of California but that I just 'had a bad view', because she went when she was pregnant with me.

Double post because you guys are lacking...
I am up at an ungodly hour...trying to win tickets to a concert, of course. I kind of loathe these "Only way in is to win!" things. They tick me off.

Hahha good luck Stalker. I'm so tired from working 40-hour weeks. At least I'm getting fit and tan from working at a pool.

Weeeeeee. Spent the evening with some of my friends from high school... sooo much fun. One of my guy friends and I acted like two year olds the whole time (he tried to throw me over the couch, the resulting pictures look awfully awkward and so I told him he'd get shot if they ever made light of day)
