6/8 and 4/4. I know, 4/4 is the most common (why it's called common time =]), but I like it. I'm not a big fan of weird time signatures.

I'm a fan of 7/8, just because of all the different subdivisions you can create in it.

Yes but it means that when you *do* see 16ths in cut time you want to stab yourself... Kozhevnikov?

For some reason 6/8 is my favorite even though I didn't understand it for a while.

Yeah I'm boring and like just plain ol' 4/4. I can handle 3/4 nicely too. 3/2 and 2/2 are growing on me (courtesy of Copland).
And a note about cut time-- I would much rather it be in 4/4. For some reason, cut time and my brain just don't get along.

I love 6/8!! Also, I love the triplet feel to things. It makes things fun and breezy. But of course, we all like the 4/4 and 2/4 and 3/4 because those are the easy ones. I like them, I just dont dwell. I enjoy complicated sinatures. 9/8 is interesting.

I agree with everyone, but when marching season comes along give me 4/4.
