Well I remember your horn. We once shared an "intimate" moment together.

I will never leave my instument any where unless in a locked locker or inside my house. One time after solo and ensemble, I stopped at a resteraunt to get some food. We went inside and I took it with me. People looked at me wierd but I sat it in the seat next to me.

im kinda paranoid about all my stuff...especially expensive stuff so one day for some reason she had my clarinet and was bringing it to my house and i was just spazzing out over not knowing exactly where it was. i only let people i trust hold it.

omgoodness, i am so totally emotionally attached to my flute! it was my grandma's and my mom's and now it's mine, so i take good care of it. plus, me and queen yellow tree ann have been thru a lot together! i honestly don't let anyone else play it except a few other flutes and my mom. i won't even let my dad touch it.

Of course I love my bassoon! It's my own (which you know it's rare that people actually own one. lol), and I also keep it really close to me when it's not at home or in the campus locker.

I have an old trumpet, which was my brothers and is now mine. It is crappy, (We call it Roger because it has a bad tone quality, like today's Roger Daltrey!) But I love it, it's a trusty trumpet and has survived everything. It is perfect for Pep Band.

I love my alto clarinet! It is barely playable, but I CAN play it so I love it anyway. I generally refer to it in an affectionate insulting way, like calling it a "thing." I haven't named it yet... I can't think of one that fits... though I considered naming my Bb claire...

I am emotionally attached to my clarinet, I suppose, because I miss playing her when pep band season is over.
I am emotionally attached to my saxophone because we have a love hate relationship. I love playing jazz... But I hate how my saxophone is a Bundy II and just sucks. So I yell at him a lot.
I am definitely attached to Bessie, the school's bassoon. She gives me a hard time though. She is always falling apart. I send her in to get fixed, she comes back, and something else is wrong. But I love her! And I am definitely gonna miss her in college!

After my last concert and the last time I would ever play my middle school's contra alto, I was just standing next to my case with my instrument, talking to some students I had made friends with whom I would never see again. I kept on saying, "I don't wanna go!". The instrument is kinda sucky and I was kinda annoyed that the last time I played it, I was told that I could just fix it with a rubber band. You could've told me that earlier, Mr.K! Like in the beginning of the school year, perhaps?
Anyway, my last moments with it were washing the mouthpiece so that the BD didn't have to clean it. I also got really upset when I found out that I wouldn't be playing it full time next year.
